Welcome to Canada!

You’ll arrive at Vancouver International Airport. We recommend arriving in the afternoon so you can enjoy your first evening in this city set between the ocean and the mountains.

You can choose to stay at the guesthouse we’ve selected for you (an option you can add when booking), or arrange your own accommodation in Vancouver.

This first night gives you time to recover from jet lag. Spend the evening exploring downtown, strolling along the waterfront, or enjoying your first Canadian meal.

Frequently asked questions

Here are some frequently asked questions. If you have any others, get in touch.

How much can we leave for?

Canada Nomads is designed for groups of 2 to 4 people sharing one vehicle. Groups of more than 2 people travel in a larger vehicle with two rooftop tents.

Want to travel with more than 4 people? That’s possible, but you’ll need to split into several smaller groups. Each group must register separately and will be assigned its own car.

Feel free to contact us in advance to check availability.

How does the payment work?

Within 3 days of booking, you pay a 30% deposit to confirm your trip.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before departure. If you change your options, the total amount is recalculated automatically.

If you haven’t opted for damage coverage, you’ll also need to pay a security deposit before departure (more info in the insurance section).

There are several payment options.

Did your payment fail? It was probably due to an error when entering the reference number or because you exceeded your account limit.

De quels documents ai-je besoin ?
  • A passport valid for the entire duration of your trip and for at least 6 months after your return date

Can I customize the trip to my liking?

We offer a fully mapped-out 14-day road trip, so it isn't possible to change the trip's duration or itinerary.

Of course, you're free to extend your trip independently, for example by staying in Canada for a few extra days afterwards.

What does the road trip itinerary contain?

The travel booklet contains all the necessary information for a successful visit to Canada.

The complete itinerary is mapped out. You'll visit the most famous spots in Western Canada, but we'll also guide you to hidden, lesser-known places that aren't yet on the maps of most travel guides.

We offer you stops, but of course, you'll have the choice to stop or not along the way, as well as add extra elements to those we propose.

The travel booklet also includes a series of unique addresses where you can grab a drink or a meal in the evening.

  • Fuel: around €500 for the entire trip
